Who do you print for?
We print for many different types of businesses and organizations. We print for many fire departments, law enforcement agencies, sports teams, church groups, schools, auto mechanics, lawn care companies and many more! We would love to have you on board!
What brands of garments do you use?
Through our distributors, we have access to all of the major brands that you would normally wear as well as a few lesser known brands that are of great quality and excellent feel. To name a few: Adidas, Augusta, American Apparel, Badger, Bella-Canvas, Carhartt, Champion, Champro, FlexFit, Gildan, Jerzees, New Era, Next Level, Nike, The North Face, Port Authority, Port & Company and Sport Tek.
What type of ink do you use?
We use plastisol ink which is a plastic base ink. B&L exclusively prints with One Stroke Inks proudly made in the USA in Louisville, KY.
What type of materials do you print on?
We print on most types of materials. Cotton, Cotton-poly blends, 100% polyester. We print on t-shirts, sweatshirts, pants, shorts.
Do you have a minimum number of items for screen printing?
Due to the time involved with setting up and running a print job, we ask for a 10 piece minimum to keep costs for you as reasonable as possible. Some shops require 24-36 pieces as a minimum. We understand not everyone needs 30 pieces for their custom items. We offer the lower amount in hopes you return to us in the future.
What if I know what I want, but don't have a design?
No worries! We offer design services and are able to help you create a logo or image that best represents your company or group event.
Can you explain screen fees and set up charges?
Screen fees are additional material and processing charges that come from creating the screen or screens that will be specifically for your print. Set up charges are very similar but used for setting up your embroidery project.
Why does screen printing have added costs for additional colors for my design?
Every color in screen printing needs a screen of its own. Each time another color is needed, that is more ink used and a longer printing process. It is similar to an auto mechanic charging additional labor charges per hour it takes to work on your vehicle.
What is a digitizing fee?
A digitizing fee is a ONE time cost for your artwork to be turned into an embroidery file that is specific to our embroidery machine. A stitch file that my machine is able to read to stitch your image on your item. The price is based on the number of stitches in your design. Once this file is created, you will never be charged for it again as we will have it on file forever.
What is an artwork charge?
An artwork charge is for the cost of turning your logo into a vector file. For screen printing and embroidery, we need a vector file to create your image files to reproduce high quality prints.
If I have employees that would like to order different items and pay individually, do I need to collect a spreadsheet and money from everyone?
No one likes to collect money and organize a spreadsheet. Let us take all of the pressure off of you. We can create your company, team or fans a custom online store, specific to your needs and everyone can shop and purchase directly using a credit card. Once the store reaches it’s end date, we will print everything ordered and deliver, ship or offer a pick up time for individually packaged orders.
What is your return policy?
Please see our return policy for full details and explanations.
If we already have the shirts we want, can you print on them?
There are many variables associated with screen printing, and one of the major ones is garment types and the material of those garments. The garments we order and print on, we know come from a distributor that deals with garments that are meant to be printed on. In the very limited situations where we may take customer supplied garments, we will not be held liable for any damages to garments and will not replace said garments.
